When you go through puberty your hormone levels change which can trigger grease-producing glands in your skin. These little glands produce larger amounts of oil which can sometimes block pores causing spots, or make your skin feel greasy. Skin problems around puberty are common and will affect most people at some point in their teens and early adulthood.
If you have a collection of spots that are hard to shift on your face, chest or back you could be dealing with acne. Acne is a series of persistent spots that can vary in size and lead to you feeling self-conscious about your skin and make you feel low. But fear not, you aren't alone and there are lots of treatments you can try.
