Contacting Your GP
You can make an appointment at the GP you are registered with, or find a GP near you. Sometimes there is a GP who specialises in mental health. You might prefer to speak to a doctor you have seen before and you feel comfortable with.
You may have to wait a few days for an appointment. If you need to be seen before then, you can ask for an urgent appointment. You could also call NHS 111 and select the mental health option.
